Northport Public Library

The Northport-East Northport Library has purchased a new lot on which to construct a new Public Library branch. The lot previously served as a Municipal parking lot (municipal parking zone). For the construction of this building, the Library and Architect will work with the Town to change the zone to C-13 Cultural Center District. The Town of Islip has set a goal of LEED certification for all new public facilities. This design of this building shall take into consideration sustainable design methods.
